US Senator Robert Kennedy traveled to California in 1966 to deliver a speech to UC Berkeley students on the subject of Civil Rights and dissent. In his remarks he affirmed that protest was indispensable but that without following through with productive conversation and constructive actions, it was merely noisy self-indulgence.
