This was the back cover of The Doors' self-titled debut LP, released in January 1967. It featured the hit songs "Break On Through (To the Other Side)," "Light My Fire," and "The End." The Doors had been signed by Elektra Records after producer Paul A. Rothchild saw two sets of the band playing at the Whisky A Go-Go on the Sunset Strip.
