The Beatles, Leaves

Robert Freeman

An outtake from the 1964 Beatles For Sale shoot, depicting an autumn scene taken at Hyde Park in London.

Produced by George Martin for Parlophone, Beatles For Sale included the iconic singles "Eight Days a Week" and "I'm a Loser." It also marked a minor turning point in the evolution of John Lennon and Paul McCartney as songwriters.
