This beautiful showgirl of the Ziegfeld stage displays an air of confidence, even while posing in the nude. Painted in 1928, Vargas subtly captured the relaxed and somewhat condescending attitude of this young woman who seems to say, "I've made it to the top - I'm a Broadway star!"
This artwork was produced in both an Arches edition (shown here) as well as a Broadway Showgirl, Deluxe edition.
